High Pressure Sodium
Have you ever wondered while driving down the street at night why is the light so orange. That is because the street lights are High Pressure Sodium lights. HPS lights have a very low color temperature, creating the orange color, however HPS has a large amount of lumens allowing one light to throw light across an entire section of road. Though HPS lights are still used in a wide variety of applications and available for purchase, they are starting to be changed out for the Metal Halide Light. |
