Lighting Technician (Reno/Sparks Area)
Have Lights Will Travel is currently accepting resumes for a Lighting technician in the Reno/Sparks Area
Basic Job Description: Diagnose and repair basic lighting and sign outages, install new fixtures and lights for Have Lights Will Travel customers.
Various Tasks
Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and company standards
Replacing lamps, ballasts, sockets, photo cells and other necessary lighting components.
Effectively communicates with customers as necessary
Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision
Installs/services various lighting systems, conduit, and basic control systems
Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles
Consistently follows workplace safety procedures
Works as a member of a team with a positive attitude
Requirements for consideration
Basic hand tools
Valid driver's license
Clean criminal background but can discuss past issues
Proper transportation
Willingness to travel
Able to operate aerial platforms such as boom lifts and scissor lifts
Self-motivated, organized, and reliable, with positive attitude
Understand and interpret written and verbal instructions
Able to climb ladders, lift, and work in a variety of weather conditions
Must be able to lift 50lbs, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
Must be able to work in various positions such as stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time
Periodically available for emergency calls at any time

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour with opportunity to be sent to electrical school and become electrician.
